This fifteen room boutique hotel in the desirable seventh arrondisement of Paris was a rare find. In a touristy city with limited worthwhile small hotel options this new property stood out for its location, quiet small rooms with elegant upscale furnishings and amenities, and two dining venues onsite.

Thanks to its close proximity to Paris, it is easy and pleasant to discover Champagne. We preferred to be carefree to enjoy some of the lovely bubbly. Visitors who would like to do the same can take the train or hire a tourist service for a day visit. Prices to visit the Champagne house cellars are inexpensive and usually include a tasting at the end as well as the opportunity to purchase your own bottles to take home.

While Frankfurt is popular with business travelers to Europe, it is also an excellent jumping off point to some of the most beautiful tourist areas in that region of Germany. The nearby excellent network of highways (although we came across much construction on the smaller roads) places a wide variety of scenic and historic points of interest, including the famous Black Forest, within easy reach. While we only spent a short time in the city itself we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to various small towns a comfortable drive from Frankfurt and look forward to returning soon.

Eze is a tiny medieval village built on a hill for strategic purposes. It looks out over the ocean with views from a park located near the top.
