Ultrathon Insect Repellent with Deet
We took along two types of DEET with us on safari in Botswana and South Africa. At some point, out in the Okavango Delta, we found that even in the fall, long after the rains, there were still enough bugs to have concerns about malaria. The stronger Deet solution we got from the camping store made both of us queasy and was unpleasant to have on the skin. Ultrathon Insect Repellent that we got from Magellan’s was a pleasant contrast. It had a decent smell and kept the little critters off the times we used it. Now it is always part of our safari gear.
